Kimberley, located in the Northern Cape is rightly regarded as the city of diamonds. Kimberly is home of the world’s largest uncut diamond. Also found in Kimberley is The Big Hole, the largest man-made hole in the world-1,640 feet wide and 787 feet deep (roughly the size of eight football fields) made during the big diamond rush of the 1870’s. In addition to beautiful diamonds, Kimberley is known for it's blend of African art and early European art.
