announces extension of
negotiations with Worldspan

South African Airways (SAA) announced early this morning that it has agreed to extend contract negotiations with Worldspan.  As a result, SAA’s GDS content, including fares, schedules and inventory availability, will continue to be available in Worldspan, and travel agencies may continue to service SAA reservations through the system. 

The airline has been in negotiations with Worldspan regarding a new participation agreement that would allow SAA to continue distribution of GDS content at cost-competitive rates. 

South African Airways remains committed to making GDS content available to its travel agency distribution partners through as many channels as possible, and will continue to update them on the status of the negotiations.
